For 25 years now, Kenny Rogers’ "The Gambler" has advised poker players that they have to know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em, their cards that is. Rogers is now campaigning for poker fans to own ‘em, referring to the DVD box sets of his legendary poker film. In a series of promotional events, among them an online poker tournament, Rogers hopes to entice loyal country music followers as well as poker players to purchase the special 25th anniversary edition of "The Gambler."
