Poker Champs Try to Score Off Roger Clemens, Dan Marino, and John Elway in Celebrity Poker Tournament
A unique event that took place over the weekend saw poker’s champions take on football and baseball legends. Instead of taking place on the diamond or the gridiron, however, poker’s finest squared off against Roger Clemens, Dan Marino, and John Elway on turf somewhat more familiar to card players, in the form of green felt. The 2006 Legends Celebrity Invitational Poker Tournament hosted by the legendary sports trio took place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
