The World Series of Poker, owned and operated by the largest casino operator in the world, Harrah’s Entertainment, has named Robert Daily as the Tournament Director for the 2006 WSOP. Daily has been the poker room manager at the Rio All- Suites Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and will now be moving up to one of the most prestigious jobs in the poker industry.

A part of the Stanley Leisure chain of casinos is about to offer a new schedule of poker to those players in the North Hampshire, South Oxon and Berkshire regions. Local poker fans will no longer have to travel far, but can stop by the Reading Sporting Club in Reading, Berkshire, for poker tournaments running weeknights except on Tuesdays.
