Some people liken it to watching grass grow or paint dry, yet each year the crowds seem only to grow at places like the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, the location of the World Poker Tour Winter Open for 2006. Saturday afternoon saw dozens of spectators around the rails watching as the players battled it out for spots in the final event of a No Limit Texas HoldÂ’em event. While there is no question that poker has become the latest spectator sport on TV, some find it odd that it would draw such an interested live crowd.
