Hollywood Poker Launching Celebrity Poker Night Online
Where else could a weekly tournament labeled ”Celebrity Poker Night” be more appropriate than online poker room Hollywood Poker? The site is known for its celebrity host, James Woods, as well as the bevy of personalities that frequent the rooms. While poker players are looking for stars to join their table, they could play many a game without synching up with a star. With the new tournaments they will at least get to see one celebrity, the host of the event.
Each week a different celebrity will host the event, which only has a five dollar buy in, and there is no telling what other names will pop up at the tables…

Useful poker terms:
- FIFTH STREET - In stud poker, the fifth card to be dealt to each player. Sometimes used to refer to the last card dealt in Hold'em, although the more common term for this is RIVER (q.v.).
- HIT - To make a hand or catch a card or cards that improves one's hand. "I hit a gut-shot draw on the river."
- RIDER BACK (TM) - A brand of playing cards that feature a bicycle rider on the back of the cards. Often used in home games. Compare: BEE No. 92.
- PAT HAND - In draw poker, a hand that does not need any more cards. Specifically, a straight, flush, full house or straight flush. One might bluff and represent a pat hand but actually hold something else.
- ROLLED UP - In seven-card stud, being dealt three of a kind in the first three cards.
- OPENERS - Cards in a hand that qualify a player to open the betting.
