Lucky Prisoner Avoids Death Penalty in Killer Poker Game Case
Four years ago, a jailhouse poker game turned ugly when prisoner Michael Darryl Henry brutally murdered a fellow inmate after refusing to pay a poker debt to him. At the time, Henry was already in the midst of serving a sentence of life plus 61 years for crimes previously committed. Closed circuit cameras captured footage of Henry stabbing Lorenzo Hazel a shocking 85 times in Maryland’s Jessup prison.
