New Year Sees Poker Charity Underway

With some places cracking down on poker in all its forms, the activity in other places suggests that 2006 will still see plenty of No Limit Texas Hold’em and other poker tournaments and events used to raise money for charity. A recent ruling in Texas stated that Poker Runs were considered gambling and thus illegal in that state, keeping the traditional charity runs from occurring.On Sunday, January 29th the Sinai Men’s Associates will be hosting a No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament to raise money for the Men’s Associates Patient Activity Fund.
