A 22 year old University of Waterloo student will not have to fret about meeting his college tuition anymore, thanks to the end of a week of poker playing that has left him a millionaire. More than 700 players had all hoped it would be them, but the Third Annual PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, held at the Atlantis Casino Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, ended with Steve Paul-Ambrose the emerging champion.

Poker slang:
- QUARTER - [1] Twenty-five dollars, often symbolized by a green casino chip. [2] To divide half a pot between two tying hands. In split pot games, a player who "ties" another player for their half of the pot is said to be "quartered". One might say "I didn't bet my A-2 because I figured I'd get quartered".
