An Open Letter from WPT Founder Steven Lipscomb
Today on the popular internet poker message forum run by Two Plus Two Publishing, a representative from the World Poker Tour (WPT) posted letter to the poker community written by WPT Founder, Steven Lipscomb. In the letter, he addressed several recent concerns people have had about his company and left it open to the members of the forum to comment as they felt necessary.

Poker argot:
- FILL - To draw a card that makes a five-card hand (straight, flush, full house, straight flush).
- PAY OFF - Calling a bet with little expectation of winning, unless the opponent is bluffing.
- MISDEAL - A hand dealt incorrectly that must be re-dealt.
- READ - To determine whether an opponent has a good, medium or bad hand by observing his personal behavior. An inexact science.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
