Sioux Falls Police Bust Poker Game
Sioux Falls Police say an illegal poker game was underway in a basement suite inside the Cedar Plaza at 5009 West 12th Street. It’s known as the Westside Club.
“Narcotics detectives have been aware of this operation since probably late summer of this year,” Officer Loren McManus with Sioux Falls Police said.

- TO GO - The current betting level, as in "$20 to go" meaning every player must contribute $20 (total) or drop. A $10 raise would then make the pot "$30 to go".
- SEMI-BLUFF - To bluff with a come hand that figures to win if it hits.

- RAIL - A barrier dividing the card playing area from a public area.
- SUITED - Two or more cards all the same suit. Ant: OFF-SUIT.
- COMMUNITY CARDS - Cards that are available for every player to use in making a hand. Usually dealt face up somewhere in the middle of the table.
