Update: Phil Ivey to buy-in for $10 million poker tourney
It has just been learned that Phil Ivey, the recent winner of the Monte Carlo Millions and the Full Tilt Poker Invitational tournament, will be one of the six participants in the Mansionpoker.net Pokerdome Series’ $60 million main event.
The $10 million buy-in for the poker event will make it the largest single payday in the history of sports for the fortunate winner. Ivey and the other five players, to be named at a later date, will be dueling it out down under in Melbourne’s Crown Casino.
