FSN hits TV poker jackpot
Fox Sports Net and MansionPoker.net have signed what they are calling “the largest televised poker deal in history.”
The three-year deal establishes the “MansionPoker.net Pokerdome Series,” which FSN said features “high stakes, new formats (and) groundbreaking technology” as well as three multimillion-dollar winner-take-all events.
The series premieres at 11 p.m. May 15 and is set to air for 43 consecutive weeks…

Poker argot:
- BET - To put money into the pot, pursuant to the rules of the game, thus maintaining a chance of winning the pot.
- SPLIT [THE POT] - To split the pot between two or more players. Related term: QUARTER.
- STUCK - Down a nontrivial amount of money, as in "he's stuck $800".
- FLOP GAME - Any of a number of poker games where a flop is dealt.
- QUALIFIER - A minimum standard that a hand must meet in order to win. Usually applied to the lowball side of a high-low split pot.
- LATE POSITION - For a particular betting round, a player who does not have to act until most of the other players have acted.
