Harrah’s Announces World Series of Poker
LAS VEGAS - Harrah’s Entertainment, Inc. and Jungle Media Group, publisher of Jungle Magazine, today announced plans to host the World Series of Poker MBA Championship at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas January 13-15, 2006.
More than 500 MBA students are expected to play in the tournament in 2006, the first year the competition will carry the World Series of Poker brand and offer the winner a seat in the 2006 World Series of Poker Main Event.”The World Series of Poker br…

Poker terminology:
- AMERICAN AIRLINES - In Hold'em, a pair of Aces in the hole. Better known (at least in rec.gambling) as POCKET ROCKETS.
- LOWBALL - Generic term for poker where the lowest hand wins.
- STRAIGHT FLUSH - A hand consisting of 5 cards in sequence and the same suit.
- LOCK - A hand that cannot be beat under any circumstances. Also: NUTS.
- BUTTON CHARGE - A periodic fee paid by whoever is the button, perhaps every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. Constitutes part or all of the HOUSE CUT.
- REPRESENT - Implying, by one's betting style, that one has a particular hand.
