Crerand plays poker vs 5000 United fans
United legend Paddy Crerand was back at Old Trafford on Wednesday night, 24 hours after watching the Reds draw with Villarreal. This time, Paddy was in action himself - playing online poker, live, against 5,000 fellow supporters.

Poker dictionary:
- PAT - Holding or being dealt a pat hand. "I'm pat" would mean "I don't want to draw any cards.
- PROP - Also PROPOSITION PLAYER. An employee of the gaming establishment whose primary purpose is to keep enough players at a table to prevent breaking up the game for lack of players. Unlike SHILLs "props" make a small hourly wage but play with their own money, winning or losing based on their skill.
- WIRED [PAIR] - A pair in the hole. In 5-card stud, a door card that pairs the hole card.
- OPEN-ENDED STRAIGHT - Four cards to a straight which can be completed by drawing a card at either end. E.g., 6-7-8-9 is an open-ended straight. Also: BOBTAIL STRAIGHT. Compare: INSIDE STRAIGHT.
- POT LIMIT - A game where the maximum bet is determined by the size of the pot at the time. Note that a player wanting to raise first calls the bet, then totals the pot to determine the maximum amount he can raise.
- LIVE [CARD] - In Stud, a card probably not held by other players.
