Poker philanthropy is set to reach new horizons as Wichita’s Amateur Poker League will launch a national charity poker tournament tour to benefit soldiers wounded in Iraq. The amateur league, which recently hosted a local charity poker event in Kansas that drew over 18,000 people, decided to capitalize on their fundraising success and bring the charity poker fever to at least 12 metropolitan areas across the country beginning in early December.
