PartyGaming buys MultiPoker and IntertopsPoker skins
Last week we reported PartyGaming is negotiating a possible take-over with Empire Online. This week the news surfaced that PartyGaming has bought MultiPoker and IntertopsPoker, both former so-called ’skins’ of PartyPoker. A third skin, Coral Eurobet, has decided to go it’s own way and is preparing to migrate it’s player base to another platform, which is rumored to be the OnGame poker network.

Casino poker language:
- STAKE - The amount of a player's BUY-IN, or the amount of money they are willing to play with in a given session. Compare: BANKROLL.
- BLANK - Used in describing stud and Hold'em games. Refers to a dealt card that does not offer any value; stating the actual rank and suit would detract from a description of the hand. "The last card was a blank.".
- TOP TWO PAIR - In flop games, having hole cards that make the highest possible two pair hand.
- RAKE - Money taken from each pot and given to the house in return for hosting the game. Usually a percentage of the pot (5%-10%) up to some maximum amount.
- LATE POSITION - For a particular betting round, a player who does not have to act until most of the other players have acted.
- STACKED [DECK] - A deck that has been arranged to give one player a huge advantage. Also: RIGGED.
